Anim’est Trophy goes to Russia.

Before Love was awarded the Anim’est Festival Trophy (October 2016, Bucharest, Romania), for the best of the best films in competition!
The international jury comments the decision as follows:
«We felt this film achieves a compelling narrative using brilliant cinematography and highly original design. The director combines a certain brutality with moments of great sensitivity to describe a tortured love affair.»
